Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson has sued her ex-boyfriend Brooks Ayers for cash she says she loaned him when they were a couple. Gunvalson claims that Ayers has breached a verbal and written agreement, and she is suing for fraud and misrepresentation, among other claims.
According to Us Weekly, Gunvalson alleges that she loaned Ayers $184,899 in 2011, plus an additional $81,652.07 for attorney fees. The Coto Insurance owner says that back in 2016, she and Ayers agreed in writing that he would provide her with an income statement, but he never kept the promise.

In the documents she filed in the Clark County, Nevada court, Gunvalson says that Ayers made “false representations” to get the loans and agreed to repay them. She further claims that he had “no intention” of paying her back.
The papers claim that Ayers “committed the acts alleged knowingly, willingly, intentionally, maliciously and with the conscious disregard of the rights of” Gunvalson. In addition to the money she loaned him, Gunvalson is also asking for Ayers to pay lawyer fees, interest, and punitive damages.
Gunvalson and Ayers split in August 2015 after dating for four-and-a-half years when it was revealed that he had lied to her RHOC co-stars about having cancer. Ayers eventually confessed that he fabricated documents to “prove” he was sick for a storyline.
The OG of the OC has denied any involvement in Ayers’ scam, and two years after their relationship ended she told Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen that she doesn’t love Ayers, and he is just a person from her past.
Gunvalson is currently dating Steve Lodge, and rumor has it the couple will get engaged on the upcoming season of RHOC. Ayers tied the knot with Christy Linderman in March 2018.
Gunvalson is also involved in another lawsuit, but this time she’s the one being sued. Former Coto Insurance client Joan Lile is suing Gunvalson for fraud over a policy she sold Lile and her late husband, Robert. However, the reality star says that the allegations against her are “completely false.”
