Imagine the scene. It’s a Monday morning, and you’re about to go on your daily commute to work. Suddenly, you’re stopped in your tracks by a terrifyingly enormous Marshmallow Man emerging from the ground! This is what happened at London’s Waterloo Station this morning, all in the name of the new Ghostbusters movie.
To celebrate the release of the remake, Waterloo Station has been well and truly taken over by all things Ghostbusters. As well as a giant sculpture of the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, there are 8-metre slime poles and numerous movie posters. Additionally, there are staff handing out business cards, you know, just in case you don’t know who you’re gonna call for all of your ghostbusting needs!
Members of the public are encouraged to share their pictures of the station online, by using the hastag #GHOSTBUSTERSWATERLOO.

Even the London Underground has been taken over! The shape of the map has been altered to reveal a ghost in the middle. The tube station names have also had a creepy makeover – Camdead Town anyone?
There's something rather spooky about the London Underground right now… #Ghostbusters pic.twitter.com/oR6WmQUFzZ

The Ghostbusters remake stars Melissa McCarthy, Kristin Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones as the ghostbusting dream team. The film also stars Chris Hemsworth. The remake has the most hated trailer of all time on YouTube, although reviews have proven to be surprisingly positive. We’re excited to go and see it! Check out the trailer below.
