Dami Im has released a new single this week. “Fighting For Love” is a whole new direction for her, which totally suits her voice.
This single is the follow-up to her 2016 Eurovision entry “Sound of Silence”. Much more upbeat and compliments her voice completely. “Fighting For Love” is our new dance floor request in clubs.
Listen to Dami Im’s “Fighting For Love” here:
The song was written by Anthony Egizii & David Musumeci, who previously wrote “Sound of Silence”. There are synths at the start which gives the melody it’s pace. Her vocals cut in strong, with emotion pouring from the lyrics. Totally inspired by euro pop/dance; her time spent at Eurovision has definitely shaped this new musical route.
This club track is something DJ’s will love to include in their sets; we expect some massive remixes to follow.
A music video has not been released, yet. However, Dami Im has been teasing some short clips for the song on Twitter. It’s possible a performance-based music video will follow soon.
