A successful bikini entrepreneur has caused chaos among shoppers after collaborating with a well-known Australian handbag brand and selling out in minutes.

Chloe Fisher, from Sydney’s northern beaches, amassed a huge following documenting her travels with musician husband Paul, best known as DJ Fisher.

The 31-year-old also ran her own swimwear line Aloe Swimwear which she sold recently after seven years.

However, despite splitting her time between Australia, Bali, Ibiza and the US and candidly documenting her fertility struggles, Chloe has found the time to design a limited-edition collection with Prene which launched on Friday and “sold out in minutes”.

Tammy Green, owner of the Melbourne neoprene brand, said the launch had “completely blown us away” and “sold out faster than anticipated”.

“I always knew this launch with Chloe Fisher would be big,” Tammy told news.com.au.

“For the past 18 months, every time Chloe wore a product, I could see Prene customers searching on the website for the bag she was wearing.

“Announcing the launch date this week, there were over 5000 people on the waitlist by the time the products went live.

“Now they’re all gone. Everything sold out in 7 minutes, making it Prene’s largest launch on record.”

The brand, which has previously worked with Rebecca Judd, is now taking pre-orders for a second drop of the two bags – “The Minnie Bag”, $89.95 and “The Traveller Bag”, $129.95.

Each comes in three colourways, ink black, cobalt blue and oat.

“We are working to quickly restock all items in the coming weeks. Currently, our retail partners David Jones and The Iconic do have limited stock available,” Tammy finished.

Chloe explained she was involved in the “complete process” of designing the bags, stating she “loved the creative control”.

“Initially Tammy shared with me concepts, including swatches and bag designs,” she told news.com.au.

“We made tweaks and now finally people can get their hands on them.

“I actually was wearing one of the bags last year in Europe to test it out and had people continually asking me where it was from,” she continued.

“It was really then that we knew it was going to be a sell out.”

Chloe, who has been candid with her 327,000 followers about her fertility struggle, named one of the bags after her goddaughter Minnie, the daughter of her best friend and fellow influencer Ellidy Pullin.

She’s also documented some of the “brutal” realities of going through unsuccessful IVF multiple times.

“I’m so determined to be a mum. Whether it be naturally, through IVF, surrogacy or adoption, I will make it happen,” she explained.

“5 babies and 4 miscarriages [one was a set of twins] and being told there is no reason is just heartbreaking to say the least.

“Being able to openly discuss the complexities of fertility challenges has been a huge help in our personal journey.

“It’s not often we share these details; normally we are told to wait 12 weeks before announcing – yet the grief is so absorbing.

“We felt given the struggles would be felt by so many it was only fair to share, educate and lean on others in the community.”

Chloe said keeping busy helps, as does “celebrating accomplishments”, no matter how big or small.

Still, she said her Prene collection selling out was a real “pinch me” moment.

“It’s such an amazing, rewarding experience – to have worked on something for so long and have it come to life,” she said.

“I’m excited and overwhelmed that so many supported the launch. I’ve personally loved Prene for a very long time, having owned one of their OG totes from years back, I’m so happy to be collaborating with them.

“I can’t wait to see how the designs add convenience and style to individual lifestyles and personalities.”
