Archie Gemmill is a retired Scottish footballer who played for a number of clubs including St Mirren, Derby County and Nottingham Forrest. Gemmill won 43 caps for Scotland, and his most famous contribution to the national side was his stunning goal against the Netherlands in the 1978 World Cup in Argentina. The goal is widely considered to be Scotland's best ever.
