Angelina Jolie returns to the big screen this week for the first time in four years with the premiere of her new movie Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, the sequel to her 2014 Disney hit. And, while she’s been out promoting the film in numerous interviews and walking the red carpet at premieres all over the world, she recently revealed that her six children have one very interesting thing in common.
Jolie told People Magazine that the six kids she shares with her ex-husband Brad Pitt – Maddox, 18, Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 13, Knox, 11, and Vivienne, 11 – have absolutely zero interest in acting, despite their parents being two of the most famous actors on Earth.

The 44-year-old explained that her youngest daughter Vivienne – who appeared in the original Maleficent as young Aurora – had no desire to be part of the sequel.
“I tried,” Jolie says. “Viv still can’t believe I made her a princess. None of my kids want to be actors. [They’re into] business, humanitarian affairs, things like that. Nobody was interested!”
The Oscar winner also admitted that playing Maleficent a second time was a challenge for her after going through such a difficult breakup from Pitt. She said that the past few years have been a tough time, and she wasn’t feeling very strong after her marriage fell apart.
“In fact, I was feeling pretty broken,” said Jolie. “It took me a moment to feel the strength of [Maleficent] again.”
The Girl, Interrupted star said at the Los Angeles premiere of Maleficent: Mistress of Evil that her kids helped her get through the difficult time in her life, and their love is where she gets her inner strength.

The only Jolie-Pitt kid who wasn’t at the LA premiere was Maddox – who is currently attending college in Seoul, South Korea. However, the other five were by her side, along with her brother James Haven and her dad, actor Jon Voight.
The 80-year-old Oscar winner couldn’t help but praise his daughter, calling her “very strong.” Voight said that Angelina Jolie has a “certain persona that is hers alone, and she sits in it very comfortably.”
