Ribas opened up about her career to MMAFighting.com. She says that she doesn't feel pressure to perform a certain way in the ring. "I have nothing to prove to anyone," she says. "I did well against Paige, nailed it in my post-fight interviews, and really enjoyed the opportunities I had. It's a different fight now. You might see a different Amanda. These are different situations. I don't try to predict the future. If it took me two years to prove the USADA case, I don't have to prove anything to anyone [laughs]. I'll just do my best in there."
Ribas revealed to MMAFighting.com that she keeps things from her first loss. She says that it helps her move forward in her career. "I still have my IMMAF credential, my first pair of gloves," she says. "I keep that because it's part of my history. Life isn't only made of wins, we have losses too, so we have to keep that to remind you not to let it happen again. And if it happens, remember we managed to overcome it."
Ribas shares a lot of her favorite workouts on Instagram. Sometimes, she does exercises that she isn't always a fan of. Ribas isn't the biggest fan of running, but she makes sure to do it.
